Cindra (Cindy) Ross is a professional photographer, graphic designer and teacher with over 27 years of experience in
the arts.
Before graduating from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Art and Design, she worked at The Photique in Pismo Beach, California, as a photographers assistant for studio, portrait, wedding, and location photography. Soon after graduation, she was hired by Prudential Insurance as a corporate photographer and media producer, where she photographed for marketing and training publications, directed video productions, and created multi-media presentations and graphic designs. Her other corporate media experience includes working for the media and marketing departments of R.W. Lynch, Inc., Northeast Securities, Inc., and Marketing One, Inc. at Bank of the West.
After moving to Denver and spending some time at home with her children, Cindy went back to school, graduating from Regis University in Denver in 2008 with a Masters of Education degree, with a K-12 Fine Arts endorsement. She teaches photography and graphic design in the Douglas County District. In addition to her work as a high school photography and design instructor, she also teaches at Regis University as an adjunct professor in the School of Education. In addition to her teaching career, Cindy has continued to work as a freelance photographer.
On her off days, Cindy enjoys traveling, taking photos and going on adventures with her husband, Steve, and her three children, Ryan, Sarah, and Jacob.
